Tell us a little more about your housewife, Sienna:
I’d love to. Sienna is in her late twenties and a typical rich, blonde, little bitch. She isn’t exactly a housewife, but she’s the daughter of  an old money father and a white trash mother. She doesn’t work, she shops, and she has the most beautiful boyfriend ever. Charlie… sigh.

What inspired Sienna’s story:
A mixture of things really. I was given an idea of what Escape wanted, talked through a few options with the editor and sort of pantsed my way through it. I changed the character traits and story line several times, since Sienna isn’t really the sort of character I’d usually write.

What was your biggest challenge in writing Sienna’s story?
Definitely writing a character I would not have chosen myself- a skinny, blonde bitch. My heroines are always more voluptuous, sweet and all heart. Making Sienna likeable for me was quite hard.

Why will we love Sienna?
She is quite different to all the other housewives, and she has a sex scene that most women will admit they dream about. I hope that you enjoy her mixture of humour, tenacity and heart.

The Housewives of Sydney series promises that we’ll “find out what goes on behind the doors of the most exclusive addresses in the country”. What was the appeal of joining this series? Similarly, what has been the biggest challenge?
I was honoured to be asked! Seriously! What an amazing group of authors to be included in. The biggest challenge was both the plot and the character development. Both pushed me far outside my normal limitations and helped me grow a lot I think.
