The 5 things I loved about Lindsay Lohan’s comeback movie, Falling for Christmas

Christmas begins in November now I guess, as Netflix’s holiday romance releases get earlier and earlier. However, as an avid consumer of both Netflix rom-coms and all-things Holiday season I am NOT complaining!

The first cab off the rank this year is the hotly anticipated Falling For Christmas, starring Glee-alum Chord Overstreet, and the one and only Lindsay Lohan. THAT Lindsay Lohan.

About the movie: A young, newly engaged heiress has a skiing accident in the days before Christmas. After she is diagnosed with amnesia, she finds herself in the care of the handsome cabin owner and his daughter.

Here are just 5 reasons Falling For Christmas should be on your watch-list this Christmas.

Lindsay

Lindsay is back and she’s still got it! Her star power remains and her acting  is a s reliable as ever.

And apparently there are two other Netflix movies in the works! Welcome back LL

The fashun

As a super wealthy heiress, the Lindsay’s outfits are truly magnificent especially her pink fluffy ski outfit with a matching lip – what’s not to love.

It’s trope-y… in the best way!

Falling For Christmas had all the best rom-coms tropes; the super wealthy, influential heiress with amnesia, the mother who died when she was young, the tragically widowed love interest with  a poor wee motherless daughter and her devoted grandmother stepping in to help, a cliched meet-cute where Lindsay and Chord Overstreet (what kind of name is that) bump into each other spilling his coffee.

Mean Girls references

Lindsay Lohan sings “Jingle Bell Rock,” which she previously performed in “Mean Girls.” Enough said!

Camoes

Ali Lohan makes a cameo as one of Lindsay’s stylists!!
