I recommend reading Taking Care of Business by Brenda Jackson. It’s sexy (SO sexy), it’s fast paced and it has just enough heart for a few feels along the way!

Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Leo Queens you are STRUGGLING. Vivacious, creative and theatrical you live for the spotlight and you are feeling very unseen with all this social distancing. Please don’t give into the urge to become a TikTok star, yet, and instead channel your drama queen energy into some books! I recommend this historical novel filled with lust, intrigue and just a few sexy corsets…

WITH PIRATES. I said it.

Scorpio you are so BUSY right now. You have filled every waking hour with crafting, working, baking, exercising, catching up over FaceTime and more! And you are LOVING IT. It’s filling all of your water-sign emotional needs PLUS your kickass scorpion energy. I get it, your schedules are really FULL right now (and you’re Scorpios, you don’t like listening to opinions), but nonetheless, if you can squeeze it into your calendar I recommend reading Annie West’s latest book Contracted to Her Greek Enemy. Its sexy, it’s set in paradise (for all you Scorpio queens with serious wanderlust right now), and best of all it is SHORT! The perfect thing to slide into your jam-packed schedule for a bit of shelf care!

Sag Queens, it’s time to stop scrolling for a sec! Yes, you have spent the last month free-falling through social media for the last month, obsessively refreshing your News apps, listening to too many daily news podcasts and obsessively scrolling through Facebook and Instagram for updates on the world. And I get it, it’s hard to feel ok unless you have all the information at hand. But sometimes it’s ok to switch off for a few hours and tune into a different reality. To that end I recommend binge-reading a new fantasy series, for example King Hall by Scarlett Dawn, for a literal escape from this world for a while.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
Capricorn you are feeling a little dreamy this month. You’ve already fallen in love with at least five characters from the various TV shows and movies you’ve been bingeing (and you’re following them all now on Instagram), you’re staring out a lot of windows at the sky and having VERY vivid dreams. You’ve definitely found yourself daydreaming that a handsome rakish duke will whisk you off behind some curtains for an illicit kiss at the next ball (or are you deep diving too hard on your Downton Abbey/Outlander re-watch)? Aquarius you have serious wanderlust FOMO this month. Your travel plans have been cancelled, with no new dates in sight, and you’ve found yourself spending hours scrolling through all your travel itineraries, Pinterest mood boards and saved Tripadvisor pins again and again. Don’t despair Aquarius you’ll get there eventually! In the meantime I recommend doing some more positive armchair travel through holiday destination books, for example Lovestruck by Bronwyn Sell, set on a GORGEOUS Whitsunday Island…

You’ve done your research (a Pisces is always on top of all her options), you’ve ordered your products and now you’re waiting anxiously for them to arrive so you can finally get that radiant, glowy skin of your dreams! Well I can’t help with skincare. But I can recommend a few short and sexy romance novels, the quick-read length perfect for while you’re waiting for that clay mask to dry or that sheet-mask to set! (Or both, probably both tbh).

Aries, my bold ambitious queens, this month you are STRUGGLING to get your motivation back into groove. To get what feels like your last working braincell through each day to 5pm. I get it! It is so hard to stay on-track when you’re at home all day! I recommend some spicy 80’s power ballads, a daily dance break and choosing to wear your most flamboyant outfit for a Sunday evening at home. Trust me. I also recommend diving into Renee Dahlia’s latest glamourous romance set in the high-powered, high ambition world of Ascot racing!
