The Holiday Season is upon us, and with it a barrage of romantic Christmas-themed (or Christmas adjacent) movies! Many of these films are brilliant, many (many) are terrible, but we binge-watch them all nonetheless!

Christmas Wedding Planner is one of the latest Christmas movies, and this one’s based off a Mills & Boon novel, so we HAD to watch it!

Gabby’s thoughts:

This movie, is probably one of Netflix’s best movies. It is funny, quirky, romantic and a feel-good movie. I found myself laughing constantly and was intrigued by Kelsey and Connors romance and how their relationship evolved over time. It shows the goodness of being honest and forgiving and choosing to see the good in others even when it is hard.  You can’t help but love Kelsey, for all her quirks and imperfections, it makes her more relatable and beautiful.

Would recommend this to anyone who is in for a good chick flick.

Christmas Wedding Planner is an absolute gem of a Christmas rom-com movie and should be on every romance lover’s Christmas viewing list. Filled with the most romantic one-liners, surprise twists and charming characters including Jocelyn Hudon, Stephen Huszar and Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford, this heart-warming film will have you smiling long after the final scene.
